By booking a vehicle with Ride Lucia, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth and secure rental experience for all parties.
A full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your rental.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You will receive an instant confirmation email once payment is received.
We accept major credit and debit cards. Cash payments are not accepted.
Full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
50% refund for cancellations made 24 to 48 hours before pickup.
No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup or for no-shows.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Drivers must be at least 23 years old with a valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years.
No temporary driving permit is required for visitors — your valid home country license is sufficient.
Additional drivers must be registered and meet the same requirements.
Free delivery is available to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU), and most major hotels or Airbnb locations.
Vehicle return must occur at the agreed location and time. Late returns may result in additional charges.
Vehicles must be returned in the same condition with the same fuel level as at pickup.
All rentals include basic insurance coverage. Additional coverage may be available upon request.
The renter is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss not covered by insurance.
A security deposit may be required upon delivery and will be refunded within 3 business days after the vehicle is returned in good condition.
Vehicles are to be used only on public, paved roads. Off-road use is prohibited.
Smoking, transporting illegal items, or reckless driving will result in immediate contract termination and forfeiture of all payments.
Roadside support availability may vary based on the individual vehicle provider. In most cases, vendors offer reliable assistance for common travel issues such as flat tires or battery trouble.
For urgent support, contact us or your rental provider directly using the contact details in your confirmation email. We'll ensure you’re assisted as quickly as possible.
Ride Lucia acts as a booking intermediary between renters and independent car rental vendors. All rentals are fulfilled by trusted local providers. Documentation and insurance are provided by the rental vendor.
Date or time changes may be accommodated based on availability. Please contact us as early as possible to request modifications.
